StreamMako does not promise MP4 or MP3 for every item, merge chat into the video, remove ads or overlays, separate licensed music, upscale footage, or create a source-quality option Twitch did not expose. Past broadcasts
Use the direct VOD URL while it remains public. Availability can end when the retention period expires or the broadcaster deletes the archive.
Highlights and uploads
Creator-published videos can have different availability from automatic VODs. Copy the individual item's address rather than the channel tab.
Public Clips
Use the Clip's own URL. A Clip is a short independent item and does not provide the complete source broadcast.
Live channels

Public Access, Expired VODs, and Twitch Errors
The Twitch video downloader is intended for accessible public item links. It cannot bypass subscriber-only or follower-only access, unpublished videos, login requirements, age gates, regional restrictions, deleted media, expired VODs, or other controls. A public item can also stop working when its creator removes it, Twitch mutes or restricts it, rights change, or the platform updates its player and delivery system.
If a request fails, open the link in a private browser window and confirm that it reaches the individual VOD or Clip without relying on your signed-in session. Copy the final URL again and remove surrounding chat text, emoji, or punctuation. Channel, category, schedule, and directory addresses do not identify one archived item. A timestamp parameter can select a playback position, but it does not make an unavailable VOD public again.
When the item remains public but no media appears, check whether it is still live, embedded from another page, or temporarily unavailable and try again later. A Twitch update or provider issue may require an integration change. A useful support report can include the public URL type and browser used, but should never include passwords, cookies, stream keys, private messages, or account credentials.
